This is the future of BLS indeed.

I was a little hesitant at first in taking this course because it says there's no instructor in the lab room for the skills assessment. However , when I did the in person skills assessment this morning, the setup turned out to be more efficient and one , if not the best BLS setup I have attended so far because of 2 reasons: 1. you get a real time feedback - if you're doing your compressions right - audiovisually at that. The computer shows green if your compression depth is good and it shows red if you're lacking; it tells if your rate is just about right or if you're doing it way too fast. Just the real time feedback you need.
2. it allows you to practice before taking the graded assessment which is so helpful.

i told my friends to renew their BLS through Same Day because right after walking out of that skills lab room, i kind of feel confident about my BLS skills. and that says a lot ~
Outstanding company, and I love the customer service, no computer voices, real humans. I recommend this CPR, BLS and ALS training. Love you Same Day CPR.
Simple, easy to follow steps!
I had a good experience with this course. I would recommend it. I do believe the price is too high, but it was necessary for me to take the course. I enjoyed the feedback technology and the ability to do it until you get it right. It is not stressful once you realize that it is not stressful.
Very quick and straightforward CPR certification! Will return!
I glad I found this place. I feel like this was so much easier then sitting in a class forever. The stimulation tells you what your doing wrong and how to fix it. I recommend this to everyone if they want to get certified.
Loved how convenient this program was! Had to renew my BLS certification asap and all I had to do was take the online class and attend the in-person skills module. For the in-person session, I love that you are in the room by yourself and don’t feel the pressure of multiple people watching over you. The program provides great feedback and opportunities to improve your performance if scored low. I definitely will be using Same Day CPR again!
I absolutely love this place! They make everything so easy to understand. They give you step by step instructions on how to find the location along with videos! You do the online at home which takes no time at all and then go to the location for your hands on portion! It’s gives you the flexibility of making it work through your busy life! I did my acls and bls here and will return forever more! Thank you for this service you have provided!
I had a great experience there. Also someone is guiding me to help me pass the exam.
I had a great experience and someone is also guiding me to help me pass.
Seamless, self-paced experience to obtain my BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Hands on skills portions took me less than an hour for all 3. Easy to follow instructions and good feedback from mannikins. Better deal to purchase online course and hands on skills through Same Day CPR combined than from AHA and then paying for the hands on skills session. Easy ti sign up for sessions with good avaikability. Does require comfort with using technology. Would highly recommend.
Everything was great! Just had some trouble with connection and it stopped saving my progress at some point, but I called the number provided and got it fixed quickly!
Detailed and comprehensive training and experience. Would recommend at any healthcare provider renewing!
Facility was easy to access & clean! ! Plenty of space and time to complete practice before actually taking the hands-on exam. Office was well Lit & Comfortable with A/C that worked! Couldn’t have been any easier to compete my Cert! Will definitely use again and recommend!
I’m definitely going to do this again for my cpr certification. The online assessment didn’t take long at all. I completed it within about 1hr tops. The in person assessment with the mannequins were simple and straight to the point. I did have to do a couple retry’s and practice assessments to gauge how I can pass but afterwards it was easy. The computer talks you through everything so no need to panic! I was done within 30 mins. Beats taking a class for 3-4hrs.
Everything from start to finish was excellent. The online course goes at your pace based on skill level. The youtube videos and emails explaining everything from the office access and location and key reminders for a successful hands-on portion was super helpful. I work in Manhattan and although my hospital offers BLS training this was super convenient and close to home!

Lastly, this was my first time doing the hands-on portion of BLS without a human trainer, but I was pleasantly surprised at how seamless the process was and direct and helpful the feedback was from the computer program.

The office and location — very easy to access if you follow the directions emailed to you and watch the youtube video of best door to enter at the back of the building. I went on a Sunday, where there was only cleaners in the building, I was slightly nervous because it was empty, but it was completely safe. If you are worried, just book during the week when the other offices are open.

Lastly, the office was clean and equipment very well maintained.

Overall, phenomenonal experience that is close to home and incredibly convenient.

PRO TIPS:

1.) Read theemails in depth and have them on your phone for when you are accessing the building

2.)Watch theYouTube videos that are emailed to you to pass the hands-on portion of the skills exam quickly and on your first try

3.) Remember your username and password to login. To the computer for your skills session

We offer on-site training to ensure your team is prepared to handle pediatric emergencies in real time, right at your location.

What is PALS?

PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) is specialized training designed to equip healthcare providers with the knowledge and skills to respond to pediatric emergencies. Bayside CPR offers AHA PALS courses.

PALS stands for Pediatric Advanced Life Support. A PALS course completion card from the AHA shows that a person is trained to recognize and manage life-threatening emergencies in infants and children, including advanced CPR and airway management.

Your American Heart Association (AHA) PALS course completion card from Bayside CPR is valid for two years.

PALS training is essential for healthcare providers who may encounter pediatric emergencies, including physicians, nurses, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and emergency medical technicians.

Bayside CPR offers three convenient options:

  • Traditional: Attend a full in-person PALS course.
  • Blended Learning(Fast Track): Complete the online AHA HeartCode PALS, then attend a skills check-off at Bayside CPR.
  • CPR Verification Station(Most Popular): Complete the online portion(included) and skills check off at our CPR Verification Station.

Our PALS classes cover a wide range of topics, including:

    • Recognition and management of respiratory emergencies
    • Recognition and management of cardiac arrest
    • Post-resuscitation stabilization
    • Team dynamics and communication

The length varies depending on the format you choose. The traditional instructor-led option follows a structured classroom schedule, while the Blended Learning and CPR Verification Station options allow you to complete the online cognitive portion at your own pace, followed by a hands-on in-person skills check-off at a location near you.

The AH PALS course completion cards are valid for two years, regardless of how you complete the training. Whether you choose the traditional in-person class or the blended learning (fast track) at the CPR Verification Station, you will receive the same official AHA eCard. There is no difference, as all of our training is fully AHA-approved.

The AHA requires having access to the PALS Provider Manual.  Books are available for purchase at our conveniently located training locations. We also provide a helpful study guide located under our resources tab on this website.

Bayside CPR does not issue CEUs or CMEs. If you need CME credits, you can claim them by clicking on “Claim CE Card.” These credits are not required for the class, they are only necessary if your governing body requires something beyond the AHA course completion card.

We have multiple convenient locations across Maryland and Washington D.C. to provide American Heart Association courses for BLS, CPR, ACLS, and PALS, where you’ll receive your official AHA course completion card upon successful completion.
