Very easy to complete both the online and hands on.
Hands down best CPR certification experience I’ve ever had. The facility was very clean and I was in and out in 20 minutes.
Nurse here - this was 10/10, seriously. The ease of booking, self-paced learning, and instructor free skills…absolutely amazing. You’ve got a customer for life!
Pluses- local, on demand and timely. Easy transition from on-line portion to skills training. Great when in need of fast process. Slightly costly for a nonsupervised 20-30min use and add on fees for cme/certication. Latter should be included.
10/10 experience. Great way to get your AHA BLS certification. Took under 30 mins!
Quick and easy! Will definitely return and recommend to others.
Great course to complete your CPR training. Online content was easy to access and follow. This program has tons of places and times to do skills assessment which makes it very convenient. Awesome class!
Convenient and quick
Went to facility for the skills portion of the BLS training and was very impressed. Location was extremely easy to get to thanks to the clear instructions given in the email. Easy entry into suite and area was extremely clean and organized. Computer was running smoothly with no errors. Will recommend to coworkers and friends
The detail that goes into this is amazing! From the directions to getting into the facility to the input provided from the simulation, this process made renewing BLS so efficient and simple. Will be using this for the future and recommending to anyone else who needs AHA BLS certification!
Have been going to bayside cpr for awhile. Wouldn’t go anywhere else
This was the best, simplest and easiest CPR recertification I have ever done! Took me barely 20 minutes, communication was great, instructions were super clear, and best part, I didn’t have to spend my whole day in a class. I definitely recommend this, and will gladly come again in the future!
Super easy experience if you need AHA recognized renewals!
It was quick and easy to do. They emailed with helpful tips. It was great!

What is PALS?

PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) is specialized training designed to equip healthcare providers with the knowledge and skills to respond to pediatric emergencies. Bayside CPR offers AHA PALS courses.

PALS stands for Pediatric Advanced Life Support. A PALS course completion card from the AHA shows that a person is trained to recognize and manage life-threatening emergencies in infants and children, including advanced CPR and airway management.

Your American Heart Association (AHA) PALS course completion card from Bayside CPR is valid for two years.

PALS training is essential for healthcare providers who may encounter pediatric emergencies, including physicians, nurses, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and emergency medical technicians.

Bayside CPR offers three convenient options:

  • Traditional: Attend a full in-person PALS course.
  • Blended Learning(Fast Track): Complete the online AHA HeartCode PALS, then attend a skills check-off at Bayside CPR.
  • CPR Verification Station(Most Popular): Complete the online portion(included) and skills check off at our CPR Verification Station.

Our PALS classes cover a wide range of topics, including:

    • Recognition and management of respiratory emergencies
    • Recognition and management of cardiac arrest
    • Post-resuscitation stabilization
    • Team dynamics and communication

The length varies depending on the format you choose. The traditional instructor-led option follows a structured classroom schedule, while the Blended Learning and CPR Verification Station options allow you to complete the online cognitive portion at your own pace, followed by a hands-on in-person skills check-off at a location near you.

The AH PALS course completion cards are valid for two years, regardless of how you complete the training. Whether you choose the traditional in-person class or the blended learning (fast track) at the CPR Verification Station, you will receive the same official AHA eCard. There is no difference, as all of our training is fully AHA-approved.

The AHA requires having access to the PALS Provider Manual.  Books are available for purchase at our conveniently located training locations. We also provide a helpful study guide located under our resources tab on this website.

Bayside CPR does not issue CEUs or CMEs. If you need CME credits, you can claim them by clicking on “Claim CE Card.” These credits are not required for the class, they are only necessary if your governing body requires something beyond the AHA course completion card.

We have multiple convenient locations across Maryland and Washington D.C. to provide American Heart Association courses for BLS, CPR, ACLS, and PALS, where you’ll receive your official AHA course completion card upon successful completion.
